The aircraft will make its first commercial flight on Chicago (USA) - Amsterdam (The Netherlands) - Moscow Sheremetyevo (Russia) route, and will then be used on ABC's existing route network linking Europe, Asia and the USA via the AirBridgeCargo's hub in Moscow.

With delivery of the fourth new generation freighter Boeing 747-8F AirBridgeCargo continues to follow its long-term fleet modernization strategy to further improve the quality of the product. The new 747-8F has lower noise emissions, lower fuel consumption and significantly reduced CO2 emissions.

"Operating a modern, efficient and ecology friendly fleet plays a significant role in increasing quality of the product we offer to our customers. It also gives AirBridgeCargo Airlines a competitive edge which will help us achieve stable and sustainable development and maintain our position on the market", said Denis Ilin, Executive President, ABC.

AirBridgeCargo current fleet consists of 12 Boeing 747 aircrafts (five Boeing 747-400ERF, three Boeing 747-400F and four Boeing 747-8F).
